Check. Check. Check.

Today I checked a few things off my college/life bucket list. It was a pretty dreary day so these accompolishments felt great!

First off -- I made the Daily Universe. Not for doing anything extraordinary or even for saying anything extraordinary. I was just in the right place at the right time.  Stacey, Darcee and I went to BYU's first ever PEP RALLY. Or rather Tournament send off. It was pretty awkward all the way around, but still fun to do and be part of! While we were there a girl from the paper interviewed us! It was pretty awesome. Stacey said some great things. Here's my 15 words of fame. Ahem. And I quote: "Sophomore Stacey McKnight, an art major from Nephi, was excited to be there with her roommate Kelli Lewis, a therapeutic recreation major from Powell, Wyo.
'Jimmer’s probably my favorite,” McKnight said. “I think I’ve been to every one of the home games. We’re huge fans.'”   Just to clarify I was part of that we!! Thanks Stac for the mention! :)

Also, I got electrocuted today. This was part of my bucket list even though I didn't know it until after it happened. I was pulling my laptop power source out of a power-strip the University has conveniently place in the RB. I was at an awkward angle so it only came half way out. So for better leverage, I moved my fingers down -- touching the metal prongs --  and got the shock of my life! I gasped out loud as the shock stung my thumb and ricocheted up my arm.  I then received a strange look from my neighbor. I will say its not as bad as I would have thought. So that's good.

Last but not least I received an email from Dave Rose. My dad will tell you its not personalized, but I just threw my name in wherever it said fans and boom-bada-bing -- there is a (somewhat) famous person in my Inbox. He just wanted to thank me for being an awesome fan.

Jimmer being awesome, so we can cheer for him.
Which reminds me -- I checked off being in a flash mob off my list too. Check out this video and be amazed by the BYU student section. (My arm just started tingling again -- bad sign?)

  1. Nice work in the flash mob. It looked so awesome in real life from my seat across the way. And I'm glad we had our moment of fame today!
