Wish I could Listen Now...

So it's here!
TAYLOR SWIFT'S NEW ALBUM SPEAK NOW!

I bought it this morning around 4:30. My brother and sisters can attest to this fact since I sent them an email at 4:51 a.m. telling them how much I loved it.

And I do love it. Her songs like her are amazing!
And this album sounds much different from her 1st and 2nd album, which in my opinion did not sound the same themselves. I just wish I could listen to it all day!

BUT I CAN'T.

Not because I'm too busy to have Taylor Swift plugged in my ear all day,
but because after I RAN across the parking lot to catch the bus,
I discovered my headphones have decided to quit working.

That means, that although I have a brand new amazing album loaded on my iPod,
I will be stuck reading my textbooks in silence.

I'm trying to see this as a good thing though -- I mean on a day like today
-- the day I've been waiting for for WEEKS (no joke ask my roommates) -- the day Speak Now actually comes out-- how can I be upset like a tiny thing like a headphone malfunction?

Two Steps Forward...

One Step Back.

So there I am raising my hand in class,
moving forward in my life, and then the next morning

I STABBED MYSELF WITH A FORK.

I was trying to remove some brownies from a poorly greased pan.

Most responses when I tell this story are something like:
"Don't you know that goes in your mouth not in your thumb?"
Or just plain laughter.

The wound looks to be about a 1/4" an inch deep.

I ran around frantically to find a Band-Aid before I missed the bus,
but I ended just using some toilet paper to stop the blood.
Ah.. the college life.

A Milestone...

For the first time in my life,
I raised my hand in a college class
to make a comment.

I feel so FEARLESS!

This made sound pretty small and silly,
but let me tell you.. definitely a big deal!

My Snuggie!

I wore it to the game and did the wave. Just like the commercial.
