I like to think that I'm a festive person, so it always concerns me when I don't celebrate holidays in some way! So I was feeling a little sad this morning when I didn't know how I would celebrate Pi Day! I called Ty earlier this evening to see if he wanted to go out for pie -- he was studying so I went back to my own studying and decided to try again next year! However, around 10:00 or 10:30 Ty called to say he was going to get more milk and was wondering if I wanted to get some too. I didn't need any, but I'm always down for a drive to the store. When I got into car, I asked Ty where we were going to get pie!? Ty said he already got Pie. My heart was a little sad since I really wanted to pie too! But seeing the disappointment on my face, Ty quickly amended that he got BOTH OF US pies!
These suckers sure our delicious on a late night! Now, I'm not sure if I'm more grateful for so many crazy holidays to celebrate or a thoughtful brother who's so willing to celebrate them all with me!
Speaking of celebrations: I can't wait to celebrate at the end of March Madness -- I convinced every walking member of my family to make a bracket this year, which is kind of joke since none of us are big basketball followers (EXCEPT for BYU basketball of course -- how bout them Cougs last night!?!). The prize is one fast food meal bought for the winner by the loosingest looser! Can't wait to win that prize!

I'm glad you celebrated! I forgot or I would have made pies for school. Next year!
ReplyDeletewhy is this not a bigger deal? No one even mentioned pi day to me!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, be warned, every bracket I have ever filled out has done much better than anyone expected. All the guys who take it really seriously get all worked up over my awesome predictions, so prepare to LOSE!
Whatever you guys, my bracket is going to win. Or if we go by who took the shortest time to fill it out, Sage is going all the way. But aside from that we had a Pi day too! I made an apple toffee cheesecake pie and Sage picked a pistachio pudding pie. Great fun. Anyway, if you are looking for more festive ideas you should check out http://sofestive.blogspot.com/.
